DOLLS was born in mid-2009 as a byproduct of some solo material that was more offensive, darker, vaguely minimalistic but still poppy. Drawing influence from YAZ, HUMAN LEAGUE, Trent Reznor, TALK TALK, Gary Numan, Prince, TV ON THE RADIO, THE POSTAL SERVICE, APHEX TWIN, SQUAREPUSHER, Kate Bush and KRAFTWERK, DOLLS juxtaposes pop vocals and harmonies with a dark and brooding lyricism offset by themes of violence and glamour.

Imagine Nine Inch Nails banged Madonna, spat out some broken glass and recorded it to an 80’s synth.

DOLLS is HRH Nikki Awesome and Bryce VITAMINS FOR YOU Kushnier, among others, making disco music for cutters.
